Arizona Day Hikes

"They said, Hey sugar, take a walk on the wild side." - Lou Reed

Our expert guides can help you select the perfect trip for you or your group - and we'll provide all the transportation, food and gear. Let us show you what's possible in just one day:

Grand Canyon
Day hikes in and around Arizona's Grand Canyon provide snapshots of its splendor. There are tours for beginners and experienced hikers alike. Take a 3-mile hike to Cedar Ridge along the South Kaibab trail to get a feel for true canyon hiking. Or, add another 3 miles to get a glimpse of the Colorado River from Skeleton Point. Don't be fooled though, the river is still more than 2,800 vertical feet down!

Phoenix Day Hikes
The Phoenix area may be the fifth largest metropolitan area nationwide, but don't let the city image fool you. The sprawling cityscape is dotted with diverse mountains and ranges all but a few miles from "civilization."

Tucson/Southern Arizona
The Tucson area has some of Arizona's most beautiful desert backdrops, including the world's highest concentration of saguaro cactuses. Yet you'll find much more than desert here - the "Old Pueblo" is full of diversity from evergreen forests atop Mount Lemmon to the streams of Aravaipa Canyon.
