Our purpose in life...
Just Roughin' It Adventure Company was founded by a native of Arizona
(this means born and raised, not just lived in Arizona for 10 years), and an
Mountains. Not only do we want to show you what Arizona has to offer, we
want to be sure there is as little environmental impact as possible. This
means no mules, no horses and we only carry in and out what we can fit in
our packs. We try to explore as many parts of the state possible instead of
treading the same paths on a weekly basis. Besides there is a lot more to
Arizona than the Grand Canyon - trust us! And our groups are small, never
more than 8 people per 1 guide. We are fully insured and are looking
forward to share with you what we have enjoyed for so long.
We are fully insured and permitted, but that doesn't mean we have a shorter
waiver and medical release form. All of our guides are required to carry at
least 16 hours of Wilderness First Aid and our guides that take you to the
Grand Canyon carry 80 hours of Wilderness First Responder or equivalent -
that is the same as the forest rangers.
